The Role:
Aftermarket Purchasing Manager. Main responsibilities would include: Leading a team of buyers to achieve their annual purchasing objectives. Managing key supplier relationships in regard to aftermarket supply for Land Rover. Strategy planning. Controlling all expenditure related to Aftermarket. Managing budgets. Special projects. Programme Management. All aspects of people management including appraisals and objective setting.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Strong leadership behaviours and sound purchasing fundamentals. Good level of IT competence in programmes such as Excel and Word and a high level of numerical and analytical competence are essential. Must demonstrate ability to build effective cross functional relationships.
Preferably proven Aftermarket Purchasing experience. Generic Purchasing experience would be acceptable if the candidate is able to demonstrate a strong customer focus and an ability to manage a volatile business environment. An understanding of the automotive procurement marketplace.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Excellent communication, influencing and negotiating skills. Aptitude to operate effectively within a challengine environment. Ability to learn quickly adapt to comlex processes.
