The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Position Description:
- This is a support function within a busy department in Aftermarket Purchasing.
- However, this is more than an admin. support role.
- The contractor will be required to interact with and influence buyers, other departments and suppliers; provide commercial information and reports; maintain systems and procedures; expedite supplier responses, all to deadline and SLA requirements.

Skills Required:
- Sound commercial awareness.
- Workload planning and progress skills.
- Good level of IT competence.
- Analytical and numeracy competence essential.

Skills Preferred:
- Task adherence and completion, with attention to detail in a challenging environment.
- Ability to build and influence relationships.

Experience Required:
- Buying or support experience in a Purchasing function.

Experience Preferred:
- Motor industry OEM or supplybase experience preferred.

Education Required:
A levels or HNC / HND
