The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
The Programmes Purchasing team is part of the Purchasing function, its role is to manage the interface between Purchasing and Programme Managements. Cross functional team to ensure supplier sourcing, cost, quality and timing are all delivered against plan. The Programmes Purchasing team manages and leads the interface between the wider Purchase department and a range of functional areas such as Product Development, New Model Programme, Finance, Materials Planning, Manufacturing Plants, Marketing and Quality. Key responsibilities of this role include working closely with the wider Purchase department to ensure sourcing cost, quality and timing are all delivered against plan including capacity verification.

* Highly self motivated, enthusiastic determined and able to work on their own initiative.
* Experience of managing complex projects with the ability to work to strict deadlines and to drive others to meet commitments.

stakeholders. Ability to work independently and as part of a team; effective cross functional team working experience.
