The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.

The Role:
Job Description: Verify by surveillance assessment and audit the effective implementation and utilization of the Gorgon Quality Management System in accordance ISO9001:2008 and as specifically outlined in the “Downstream Project Quality Plan” and associated Quality policies and objectives. – Formally record and report assessment results. Carry out surveillance duties across all BWI project works to provide CVX assurance that suitable KJVG and contractor QA/QC processes are in place and are effectively implemented. Individual will have specific responsibilities to monitor and appraise construction work in specific discipline areas to ensure compliance with relevant codes, project specifications and contract specific plans, procedures etc. – Formally record and report findings on a progressive basis. Promote safety awareness (IIF) and safe performance example among project team members and all contractor personnel. This would include participation in IIF training at site. Where required provide support and technical advice to the “Integrated Site Team” to ensure project deliverables are consistent with approved specifications, criticality assessments, contractual and regulatory obligations. Closely monitor the effectiveness of QC processes used to manage critical inspection and testing activities onsite (i.e. closure welds, pressure testing, NDT, PMI, etc) Ensure all inspection and testing is conducted in accordance with relevant specifications, regulatory codes / standards to verify compliance prior to handover acceptance of completed works. Support the requirements of verifying Company Quality Assurance in regards to implementation of a seamless Turnover / completions / commissioning activity. As a minimum this shall encompass progressive independent surveillance assessment of physical works and review of associated quality records.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Education: HND / HNC Mechanical Engineering, CSWIP 3.2 or equivalent.
Experience: Specific QA/QC skill set 10-15 years in oil and gas with auditing to ISO 9001 qualifications, Ability to trouble shoot and do investigative analysis as required. Candidate shall ideally have previous experience in B2B role
Preferred Skills: Strong communication and leadership, extensive project QA/QC experience
