The Company:
Our Client is a Global Operator in the oil and gas sector.

The Role:
Role Synopsis
• To support the C&I Integration Engineer for ensuring that the project philosophy to embed package controls into the Integrated Control and Safety System (ICSS) and to standardise on instrumentation is achieved as far as practicable across all packages regardless of size or complexity.
• To participate in Factory testing at MAC and Vendor locations
Attend Package Vendor C&I meetings and supports development of systems

Objectives/Scope
• To assist in ensuring compliance with package control integration into ICSS
• Work with the project EPMS Contractor and Main Automation Contractor (MAC) Package Interface Engineers
• Ensure that package suppliers are following the project standardisation requirements around selection and purchase of field instrumentation on their respective packages.

Key Accountabilities
• Support the C&I Package Integration Engineer
• Work alongside the MAC Delivery engineer to co-ordinate Emerson package interface resource
• Work with and provide leadership and guidance to contracted Package Interface engineers through all project stages from package bid evaluation through to design and testing.
• Advise the C&I Package Integration Engineer on issues relating to technical integrity on package integration and instrumentation
• Provide our client's presence at package control FAT's
• Liaise with other non engineering disciplines within the project around control integration considerations (i.e Operations team, Hook-up and Commissioning teams etc)
• Provide guidance of the relevant standards and specifications to package suppliers (e.g. FotF Blueprints)
• Day to Day liaison for contractors/MAC C&I Package engineer, ensuring alignment between vendor and contractor's scopes.
• Support of technical interface with other project work scope.
• Input to the overall project plan.
• Identification of project risks and opportunities.
• Collaborative identification and support of the resolution of project technical compliance issues with the ICSS engineer/MAC Delivery Engineer and relevant Lead Engineer.
• Review and approval of contractor / vendor deliverables and CTRs.
• Identification and highlighting of any gaps in project scope with respect to our client's GP’s and the closure / dispensation of the same.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degree qualified or Relevant Experience.
