The Company:
The company designs, constructs, transports, installs and removes offshore facilities for the global oil and gas industry. During the last decades they have become a significant international player in the offshore oil and gas construction industry. The Group consists of two divisions, each with a specific role in the activities of the Group

The Role:
Scope of Position
o 3rd line global client support and engineering / CAD applications administration
o Support for and involvement in ICT projects
o Active and integral member of the HFG ICT organization with global engineering application support focus


Liaises with
o ICT organization personnel (general)
o Service Desk Tier 1 personnel
o Internal clients and onsite customers (global)
o External technical consultants, application vendors and 3rd party support organizations
o Non-ICT engineering / CAD application specialists (global)

Responsibilities

o Monitor Helpdesk queue (TopDesk)
o Provide end user engineering / CAD application support for internal clients
o Supporting project teams of both company and 3rd party clients
o Interface with Central Helpdesk and assist in prioritizing issues
o Document incident resolution in TopDesk and follow up with clients post issue resolution
o Administer and document engineering / CAD application user accounts, roles and permissions
o Setup, install, configure and customize engineering / CAD applications
o Advise and assist with company wide ICT based solutions for company business processes, focused on design and engineering and the engineering/fabrication interface.

Requirements

o Higher education graduate, preferably in an engineering or CAD-related discipline
o Qualifications / certified training in ICT fundamentals
o 5+ years experience in Engineering and/or CAD end-user support, technical troubleshooting and client services environment
o Experience working in the offshore oil and gas construction industry preferred
• Technical Skills
o Proficient in the administration of the following applications: AutoCAD, Microstation, PDMS, Smartplant Spoolgen, Tekla Structures, SACS, Caesar 2, Staad Pro, Navisworks, Hysys. (Expert in at least 2, basic working knowledge of at least an additional 2).
o Working knowledge in Help Desk procedures; TopDesk knowledge preferred
o Working technical knowledge of Windows 7 and Office 2010
o Basic knowledge of interfacing data and process flows with ERP applications (IFS preferred)
o Basic working knowledge of database and networking fundamentals and engineering scripting languages

o Strong customer service orientation and well developed interpersonal skills
o Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English
o Basic communication skills in Dutch preferred
o Current passport and willingness to travel / work outside of home location as required
o Innovative, honest and creative attitude
