The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
The Virtual Vehicle Coordinator is responsible for ensuring completion of Virtual Series activities, usually on a single model line. The specific project assignment for this role will be decided after the application process (could be either a client Programme), so brand mobility and site mobility is expected. Resources can be redeployed to suit business needs cross brand.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Working with the CoCs and CAE/DPA analytical teams to plan and monitor CAD and NGD delivery. Ensure assessments are completed to provide a robust design by the key milestones. Expediting engineering solutions, CAD & model updates to ensure delivery of the virtual DV plan. Integrating the activities of cross functional teams to resolve challenging product issues using simulation. Planning, organising and running of key programme kick-off, communication, countdown and freeze events. Management of Virtual Series KPI metrics for VE including AIMs, DPA-U & RMDV2. Contribution to continuous process, methods, toolset and information (PMTI) improvements as part of Virtual Hub activity. Pilot and deployment of Virtual Hub PMTI projects. Integration to other Virtual Hub functions.
Knowledge of a range of CAD, BOM, CAE, and other virtual assessment processes, methods and tools desirable. Experience of project planning and delivery essential. Knowledge of automotive product design, requirements

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
The candidate should be capable of expediting successful delivery of required tasks through assertiveness, strong interpersonal skills, and negotiation with a wide range of engineering functions. Excellent communication and presentation skills required. Good team working skills and organisational experience essential.
