The Role:
Job Role:
*Production of accurate detailed drawings from information provided by the designer(s) to the highest possible standard in a timely manner
*Perform CAD drawing and system checks on fellow colleagues work providing feedback on errors / weak spots to allow others to grow and improve
*Follow the guide lines as set out in the CAD standards manual and offering continual development suggestions on improvements to the system, Carry out hardware design (cabinet layout, BoM, cable schedules etc.)
*Work under supervision of more experienced engineers
*Write technical documentation as required on allocated project tasks (Specifications, Instructions etc.)
*Coordinate, communicate with other departments and groups within PES (procurement, systems, validation, other project delivery teams) to ensure understanding of inputs
*Attend suppliers offices to progress during the system build, answer technical queries and ensure the supplier meets the clients specification
*Prior to project close out ensure that all allocated project documentation is up to date, test records completed, red line drawings and specifications formally updated and issued and all records electronically stored in the relevant system
*Keep up-to-date with relevant technology advancement
*Keep adequate, comprehensible and accessible records of all work carried out
*Prepare and maintain informal documentation (memos, technical notes etc.) (Confluence = knowledge share, et)

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Skills & Experience Requirements:
*HNC or equivalent - Mechanical
*Min 3to 4 years experience of hardware / mechanical design
*General Drawing office procedures & practices
*Knowledge of understanding of electrical schematic drawings
*Creo 2.0 (Pro Engineer) min 3 years
*Windchill 10.2 or above min 1 years.
