The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
"Trainee reporting to the Vehicle NVH Virtualisation Design Analysis team managers. VNVH is developing it¿s design for NVH analysis capability. The team is looking to grow more system based virtual capability so that analysis can happen earlier in the product development cycle thus supporting the left shift culture. The above role specification is one that will take some years to develop and will require extensive training and development from a driven and committed individual. So the team are offering a contract trainee opportunity to a well-qualified graduate."

Skills Required:
3 KEY SKILLS REQUIRED
1. The candidate will require extensive training and development so must be a driven and committed individual with a strong personality
2. The candidate will have a degree in pure/applied mathematics or Physics / Eng Sciences with a strong applied/empirical back ground and have NVH experience or be willing to learn the science and practice of noise and vibration
3. The candidate will require the ability to effectively communicate with people from a range of backgrounds and to work in a team environment

Experience Required:

Experience Preferred:
"Desirable experience would include: * NVH vehicle or system analysis experience (such as body structures for example) ideally using hypermesh optistruct, but Abaqus and Simpack would be of benefit. * Previous experience of applying Altairs NVH Director model build toolset, or equivalent would also be highly beneficial. * Experience in Matlab would also be of assistance * We ideally are looking for a candidate with experience in NVH analysis, but someone with experience in an emerging technology area such as electric motor loading would be an advantage"

Education Required:
A degree in pure/applied mathematics or Physics / Eng Sciences with a strong applied/empirical back ground
