The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
To support Finite Element model building of components, subsystems and full vehicle models for new JLR products using ANSA, Hypermesh and Oasys Primer. Able to work effectively within a diverse team to deliver models within defined deadlines and time constraints. To support build of trimmed NVH and Safety vehicle models with the ability to carry out initial baseline NVH and Safety assessments and summarise results. Liase with offshore model build teams to support effective planning and delivery of virtual builds to meet programme timing Very competent in delivery of automotive Finite Element models to required quality standards using appropriate CAE methods and processes

Skills Required:
Ability to run initial baseline CAE analysis (NVH, Safety, Durability), summarise initial results and feedback to CAE attribute project leads . Ability to work fast and accurately as a member of a small team. Good communication skills Competent in the use of pre and post processing packages - ANSA, Hyperworks, OASYS suite PC Skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Demonstration of the knowledge and skills required. Very competent in component meshing and model assembly using engineering experience and CAE tools. Demonstrated delivery of CAE component and vehicle models to meet customer targets. Working within a diverse team, including planning and delivery of work Requires supervision and/or assistance only where the issues or situation faced is highly complex and/or business critical. Experience that will help reduce virtual building time for activities on Crash, NVH and Durability
Educated to a minimum of degree level in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent technical subject.

Skills Preferred:
Knowledge of ANSA Data Management functionality Excel macro programming
Familiarity and experience of Automotive working practices relating to CAE methods and processes. Familiarity and experience of CAD , TCE & Digibuck Familiarity of IT systems
