The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Development of Trimmed Body NVH performance to meet vehicle targets including;
-Static Stiffness (global and local stiffnesses)
-Modal performance
-Dynamic Stiffness development
-NFT performance of Trimmed Body

Note: Trimmed Body includes (but is not limited to) BIW, Closures, Seats, Interior Trim, IP, Glazing, Electrical items, Exterior Trim...

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
-Sound engineering knowledge and background.
-Able to feedback conclusions to lead engineers in an efficient manner.
-Have an awareness of potential design constraints (packaging, manufacturing etc.) and ensure due consideration is given in developing solutions.
-Following software skills are essential: Nastran (or Optistruct as a suitable alternative) Ansa or Hypermesh for pre-processing and building of FE models. Meta-post or Hypergraph for post-processing results.
-PC Skills: Word, Excel / PowerPoint.
-Typically 3 years experience of working in the automotive industry, involved with the development of body and trim systems using CAE methods.
-Ideally degree educated

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
-Awareness of other attribute requirements (durability and Safety)
-Familiarity and experience of working practices relating to CAE methods and processes.
