The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Brakes NVH CAE Engineer

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Essential: NVH CAE tool usage including Model preparation in CAD, Meshing and Post-Processing
Applicants should be trained in use of the following tools - Hypermesh or equivalent meshing tool; Abaqus.
Excellent team working and team leadership skills and adaptability are essential since the candidate will be working as part of a multi-discipline vehicle level team who may require support and involvement with their own activities.
Applicants are expected to be self-motivated and demonstrate the ability to carry out tasks unsupervised once defined.
Applicants require basic understanding of vehicle braking system requirements
Any person supplied should have a valid UK driving licence and meet the medical requirements of the clients facilities
Successful history as an NVH engineer for a major OEM or supplier including meshing, analysis and report out
Degree qualified in a suitable discipline but previous experience is core to this role

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
The ability to present at all levels within the company without detailed mentoring along with a good team-working approach to tasks
CAE skills to manage and feasibly run models independently Reporting analysis results and recommendations to vehicle programme teams
