The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Lead/support development of automotive body structures (trimmed and un-trimmed), using FEA, to meet defined performance targets, specifically; global static and dynamic stiffness, localised dynamic stiffness, VTF's and NTF's. Able to run baseline CAE analysis, summarise results and feedback conclusions in an efficient manner. Able to work effectively with design teams to develop solutions within defined deadlines and time constraints. Have an awareness of potential design constraints (packaging, manufacturing etc.) and ensure due consideration is given in developing solutions.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Ability to carry out development of automotive body structures (trimmed and un-trimmed), using FEA, to meet defined performance targets, specifically; global static and dynamic stiffness, localised dynamic stiffness. MSC Nastran SOL101, 103, 108, 111 and 200 including de-bugging of analysis runs. Hyperworks ver. 10 (or 11) for Pre/Post-Processing (or Ansa/Metapost as a suitable alternative)

PC Skills:
- Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Typically 5 years experience of working in the automotive industry, involved with the development of body NVH requirements using CAE methods. Relevant experience in other fields of NVH (Noise/Refinement) development may be acceptable if combined with appropriate software skills

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Familiarity and experience of JLR working practices relating to CAE methods and processes
