The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
CAE Project Planner:

- Assist in co-ordinating and monitoring analysis work requests and CAE plans for all vehicle programmes
- Maintain agreed overall work priorities schedule through regular dialogue with programme project leads and customer group leaders
- Liaise with relevant supplier(s) to facilitate outsourced CAE work
- Track relevant programme assumptions and collate updates to CAE model input data
- Support preparation of analysis output material and data for presentation at project reviews as necessary

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- CAE literate, understands capabilities and limitations of relevant CAE tools and processes
- Excellent attention to detail and rigorous approach to information management
- Excellent presentation and communications skills
- Effective team member, highly proactive, self-motivated, demonstrating personal drive and initiative
- Ability to interact with a range of people across and outside the organisation
- Flexibility to manage varying tasks within a broad-ranging role
- Experience of applying CAE tools and processes, interpreting and presenting analysis results
- Experience of project planning in a complex, multi-disciplinary environment
- Proven problem solver with good planning skills, logical reasoning and keen attention to detail

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
- Understanding of vehicle and powertrain systems relevant to performance, fuel economy and emissions
- First degree in an engineering or closely related discipline
