The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
CFD analysts to perform design assessments using fluid flow analysis in exhaust manifolds, turbos and aftertreatment systems. To report results and make design recommendations.

Skills Required:
The candidate must be able to apply 3D CFD to industrial applications. They should be skilled in meshing, pre & post processing, reporting and problem solving. Experience using the commercial software CCM+ and StarCD is desirable. They should have a good understanding of both fluid and thermodynamics as well as an overall appreciation for powertrain technologies.

Skills Preferred:
It would be beneficial if the candidate had skills in Catia, Ansa, Java and fortran.

Experience Required:
Experience generating fluid volume models for CFD using CAD. Knowledge of turbocharging and SCR systems.

Education Required:
Degree in mechanical, automotive, aeronautical engineering. Candidates with degrees in maths and physics will also be considered.
