The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Vehicle Engineering (VE) is the key technical department for the product creation process leading the engineering from concept to customer. VE has three legs to its organisation, Attribute Management, Vehicle Integrity Team and Vehicle Engineering Management. The purpose of this role is to lead a team of expert Computer Aided Engineering (CAE), systems simulation engineers and experts from other virtual techniques responsible for delivery of key centralised cross functional virtual verification methods to deliver the Design Verification Plan (DVP) and coordinating operational delivery of the Virtual Series (VS) process across all vehicle programmes

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Good knowledge of MBS simulation techniques and methods. Experience of delivering CAE and/or systems simulation
Good knowledge of PCS product delivery process and Virtual Series principles, process, and the range of different activities covered
Excellent team leadership capabilities are essential. It will be a requirement to organise and drive cross functional teams to deliver complex simulation projects on time to meet deliverables to the required quality of event.
SIMPACK knowledge or similar MBS software
Qualified to degree level in an relevant discipline preferred

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Self-motivated and able to deliver with minimum supervision.
Candidates must be committed, flexible and able to work under pressure.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Confident to communicate across all levels,
High levels of personal organisation and motivation are essential
An ability to work independently and to prioritise will be required.
Matlab, SIMULINK, Fortran, C++, Qt scripting knowledge
