The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.
The Role:
Analyst within the Vehicle Dynamics APC team. Day to day tasks will be guided by the attribute team leader, and will include MBS model building, correlation, model development, conducting virtual testing of the vehicle using standard events, analysing results, documenting and presenting the results to the team and identification of possible mitigation actions for issues which fail targets.
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experience with MBS modelling packages (ideally SIMPACK or ADAMS) Good Team working ability Methodical and data driven attiude Good communication (spoken and written). Either experience of vehicle dynamics theory or a desire to lean and develop
Must have experience of MBS modelling.
Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering preferred but will accept other candidates providing they have the required skills and experience.
Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Experience of: Vehicle dynamics theory Design of experiments (six sigma) Various suspension systems and vehicle chassis components Working to prescribed time scales / ability to manage own workload Programming skills (matlab, c, fortran, perl etc)
