The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Reporting to the manager Concept Simulation and Methods, this role is to contribute to the development and implementation of Jaguar Land Rover cross functional virtual engineering strategy work streams and to conduct pre-programme concept CAE methods risk assessments. Responsible for liaising and co-ordinating with simulation Group Technical Cluster leads and CAE Teams across JLR Provide support to the Concept Simulation and Methods Group in developing a number of other related work streams including CAE Capability Projects and CAE supplier databases. Provide support to Simulation Group Technical Cluster Leads in introducing concept methods and processes at the pre-programme stages of vehicle programmes.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Strong CAE analytical skills having used one or more industry standard implicit and explicit finite element software applications Planning and project management skills with ability to operate with minimum supervision.
Experience in delivering automotive engineering design using finite element methods and related mainstream software applications. Experience in leading small teams of CAE analysts to deliver CAE programmes or other CAE business related projects.
Appropriate engineering or related degree

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Ability to write application scripts related to CAE application e.g. java, C++ Be self-motivated, good communication skills, personal organisational skills.
Awareness of typical Automotive programme frameworks CAE Software application experience Scripting
Appropriate engineering academic experience. CAE IT process awareness
