The Company:
SADARA is a Multinational Chemical company which is constructing and operating a world-scale integrated chemicals complex in Saudi Arabia. Once completed, the complex will represent the largest petrochemical facility ever built in a single phase. This will establish a world-scale manufacturing footprint that delivers a full range of value-added, performance products destined for the emerging markets of Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa.

The Role:
Provide Computer Aided Engineering support for production, Maintenance, Reliability and PID department through addressing existing equipment issues and new equipment design in order to optimize efficiency, safety, quality and cost effectiveness.

1. Responsible for computer aided engineering support for maintenance, reliability and operation of CAE equipment.
2. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publication; establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies
3. Assist in the conduct of training sessions for operators, engineers and technicians for better understanding and appreciation of system reliability and proper use and operation of CAE equipment.
4. Coordinate and participate in site CAE Safety and Reliability Audits. Ensure adherence to environmental regulations and Safety Loss Prevention principles are carefully considered.
5. Support:
• Production department
-Provide Computer Aided Engineering support
• Maintenance department
-Provide Computer Aided Engineering support on maintenance projects and repairs
-Provide technical assistance and resolution /troubleshooting support
-Evaluate repair proposals for sound Computer Aided Engineering practice and conformance with established safety and design criteria, and recommend approval or
disapproval.
-Participate in fit for service evaluations of new and repaired Computer Aided equipment
• Reliability department
-Provide technical assistance and resolution /troubleshooting support in RCI
-Participate in the review of the PPM program for maintenance goal alignment.
• PID department
-Provide Computer Aided Engineering field support on construction projects
-Support PID department with preparation of project cost and work estimates, development of scope and material take-offs to support project estimates. Assist with analyse tasks to determine estimates of man-hours, materials and resources needed for successful and timely completion of project requirements.
-Evaluate vendors and engineering proposals for sound CAE practice and conformance with established safety and design criteria, and recommend approval or disapproval.
-Participate in fit for service evaluations of new CAE equipment
• Purchasing department
-Evaluate vendors and service providers.
6. Perform complex design analysis using CAE software to develop alternative design solutions or quick engineering solutions for complex problems.
7. Improve existing analysis techniques, develop new analysis capabilities and ensure analysis capabilities are at the cutting edge of technology.
8. Participate in product design and development and regularly present analysis results to engineering peers and leaders.
9. Provide timely design guidance and support team to meet customer requirements.
10. Ensure the maintenance of CAE database to include all supporting information related to various engineering projects. Oversee and control the electronic drawing files, survey data files of completed and current projects for easy identification and reference.
11. Perform data processing activities such as data cleaning, conversion tool development and database management.
12. Develop, manage and validate predictive models to support system definitions and design decisions of future products or systems.
13. Perform any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor/manager.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Certificate and credentials in CAD/CAE, Lean manufacturing and six sigma.
• 10 years of experience in engineering or similar technical / industrial field of work
