The Company:
The client is a leader within the Automation and Control Systems field with operations in 100 countries worldwide. They specialise in providing integrated solutions to the Transmission and Distribution and Oil & Gas industry with projects offshore and overseas.

The Role:
 Surveying, dismantling, repairing & calibration of instruments returned from UK end customers and global sales units.
 Completion of survey, calibration or repair reports.
 Assist in managing of stock.
 Communicating between departments, coordination staff and end customers to understand requirements of activities to be carried out along with technical support as necessary.
 To provide input & feedback on repair & calibration solutions to enhance offerings.
 Responsible for Health & Safety activities and obligations for themselves and the team.
 Ensure ethical behaviour in line with code of conduct.
 Generate reports as required by management.


 Maximising utilisation and operational effectiveness of workshop staff through motivation and leadership.
 Attaining sustainable growth targets for orders and revenue.
 Creating and supporting a culture of teamwork and dedication within direct subordinates, peers and wider interactions.
 Enhance collaborative working relationships with factory staff at various levels

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
 Preferably qualified to ONC/HNC level in instrumentation, measurement control, electronics or equivalent, or recognised apprenticeship in a relevant discipline.
 Flexible approach to work with good problem solving skills
 Good PC literacy with an understanding of MS Office software is essential.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
 Knowledge of product portfolio is preferred.
