The successful candidate will support all gasoline calibration development projects, leading the optimisation of the NVH attribute. This will involve planning and managing the delivery of work packages impacting NVH on test-beds, in vehicles, and through desktop data analysis and simulation. It will require close coordination with Powertrain and Vehicle NVH teams in issue understanding and resolution. Tasks may include optimisation of Base combustion Calibration, Start optimisation, and vehicle functions impacting driveability, and air charge / boost control. The work requires close co-operation with many other product development areas, including the Powertrain hardware component owners, and liaising with the Engine Management Technical Specialists and engine management software supplier.
3 KEY SKILL REQUIRED:

2)Expertise with calibration and data analysis tools (e.g INCA, Matlab, Concerto etc). Good analytical skills & good working knowledge of MS Office software.
3)Able to demonstrate technical delivery experience, specifically optimisation of NVH attributes in a powertrain development environment with state of the art engine hardware
Min 3 years in depth experience of gasoline engine management calibration
Experience of calibration development at both a test bed and vehicle level
Experience of applying complex control software in a vehicle environment
Detailed understanding of NVH and engine calibration impact on the NVH attribute
