The Company:
Our client is the worlds leading independent company in powertrain development. Based in the UK, our client has proven success in the development of powertrain systems with internal combustion engines. Our client is a highly competent partner to the engine and automotive industry.

The Role:
The core diesel calibration team is a diverse team of experienced and motivated engineers that work to develop world class products. We are now looking for an additional calibration engineer to fill an open vacancy.

In this role you will be responsible for optimizing the vehicle driveability calibration to ensure the vehicle’s performance and driveability targets are met in all conditions.
The role involves planning, preparation and supervision of vehicle tests, assessment and documentation of test results and delivery of calibrations. You may also be required to participate in vehicle test development trips.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experience within Automotive Industry within calibration
Knowledge of and experience with driveability calibration
Good working knowledge of EMS and associated tools
Experience/Knowledge with Matlab would be advantageous
Good inter-personnel and communication skills
Good Project planning skills
Mechanical Engineering Degree
