The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Position Description:
This position is part of the Hybrid Calibration Team and includes but is not limited to: Developing initial Hybrid Software calibrations to proveout emissions and driveability capability. Working with the base engine and transmission calibrations to confirm compatibility with the Hybrid System to proveout emissions and driveability capability. Vehicle DVM Testing. HIL rig DVM testing. Completing and logging vehicle emissions tests. Track based driveability assessment and calibration. Assisting with the commissioning and debugging of early prototype vehicles. Developing and issuing Hybrid Calibration processes as required by the team. Collating and processing internal and external customer feedback and processing into issue resolution actions. Leading and coordinating the resolution of calibration issues.

Skills Required:
Calibration experience either in transmissions or engine calibration. Prototype vehicle development activities. Development vehicle commissioning. Software DVM testing, proveout, sign off, fault analysis. Use of Calibration tools - eg. INCA, Control Desk, Matlab, Simulink.

Skills Preferred:
Knowledge of Control Systems and or Electrical integration is desirable. Knowledge of Project Management systems such as GPDS, GTDS, eFDVS is desirable. Knowledge of Control Systems and or Electrical integration is desirable. Knowledge of Project Management systems such as GPDS, GTDS, eFDVS is desirable. ROSPA or IMA driver training courses would be beneficial. Process writing and issue.

Experience Required:
Exposure to calibration and control project delivery. Working on prototype vehicles. Software and Calibration Verification and Sign off.

Experience Preferred:
Relevant knowledge of automotive development systems such as GPDS.
