The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Using the data sources available conduct detailed analysis using DMAIC/8D process to define root cause and propose solutions relating to calibration and controls quality concerns
Work with service department to aid definition of potential concerns
Support manufacturing plants with diagnostic skills
Support changes to service and manufacturing
Travel within UK/Overseas as required to resolve issues/collect vehicle data

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Working knowledge of either spark ignition or compression ignition engine based calibrations/driveability/diagnostics & Emissions.
Able to work with the ETAS INCA toolset to determine the calibration settings being used for the OBD functions
Appreciation of problem solving, ideally trained to a min of green belt or equivalent
Good IT skills including Excel pivot tables, PowerPoint presentations
Be able to communicate complex issues in a way that they can be easily understood at all levels of the business
Full valid UK driving licence
Able to demonstrate data driven problem solving
Having worked with similar OEM for at least 3 years in a quality environment
