The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
The successful candidate will support the development of a engine calibrations for Hybrid projects . They will be responsible in particular for the integration of new hybrid / electrification systems into the existing engine architecture and software. Candidate must be able to demonstrate the ability to deliver a complex gasoline or diesel hybrid calibration program to production, with knowledge of complex electrical and hybrid vehicle systems

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
3 KEY SKILLS REQUIRED
1. Knowledge of complex engine control systems ¿ and in particular hybrid control systems.
2. Expertise with calibration and data analysis tools (e.g INCA, Matlab, Concerto etc). Good analytical skills & good working knowledge of MS Office software.
3. Able to demonstrate technical delivery experience, specifically in a hybrid calibration environment with state of the art engine hardware

Able to demonstrate technical delivery experience, specifically in a calibration environment with state of the art engine hardware (Experience on diesel or gasoline powertrains is acceptable - but must be able to demonstrate hybrid capability)
Min 2 years in depth experience of gasoline engine management calibration
Experience of calibration development at both a test bed and vehicle level
Ideally degree qualified in science or engineering

Highly driven, self-motivated and able to deliver with minimum supervision.
