The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
The successful candidate will lead the calibration development activity; planning and managing the delivery of work required on test-beds, in vehicles, and through desktop data analysis and simulation. Calibration tasks may include Base Calibration, Emissions Calibration, Driveability, and OBD II as well as specific vehicle feature calibration (e.g cruise control, terrain response etc.) The work requires close co-operation with many other product development areas, including the Controls/Diagnostics section of the department, and liaising with the engine management supplier.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
A team player, able to demonstrate technical delivery experience, specifically in a calibration environment. In depth knowledge of EMS Control System strategies. Good analytical skills & good working knowledge of MS Office software. Project management skills and ability to deliver under pressure. Full UK driving licence. Willingness to travel.
Min 2 years in depth experience of engine management calibration development at a test bed and vehicle level ¿ e.g emissions, driveability, base calibration ¿ Expertise with calibration and data analysis tools (e.g INCA, Matlab, Concerto.
