The Company:
Is a leading Automotive manufacturer with a reputation for outstanding quality the world over. With demand increasing and an upturn in production, there is a need to bring further skills into the business to deliver on current and future projects.

The Role:
Technical assistance to calibration of automatic transmission systems to meet regulations and product enhancements.

- Assisting with calibration of automatic transmission systems to delivery shift schedules that are suitable for the platform application which, when introduced into production are safe, legal and otherwise fit for purpose (including satisfying product liability requirements) and represents the best compromise between company and customer needs.
- Assisting with the planning, monitoring and expediting of all test, validation and certification of systems / components to demonstrate successful achievement of the above.
- Assisting in the timely release of calibrations for prototype build and production, and for timely delivery of all product engineering activities required to achieve timely vehicle launch to quality and cost.
- Responsible for data collection from development vehicles and from development testbeds.
- Responsible for the download of diagnostic fault codes.
- Support Vehicle sign-off from engineering testbeds.
- Responsible for fault diagnosis of development vehicles and of off site testbeds.
- Responsible for maintaining calibration database

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- PC literate, good communication skills, be proven self – starter and work independently.
- Communicate effectively at all levels.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Experience of EMS calibration on Bosch (or other EMS with electronic throttle control and torque based architecture) including engine mapping, OBDII
- Experience of using INCA with Bosch functionality.
- Full understanding of OBDII regulations and fuel specifications worldwide
