The Company:
Our client has been engaged in the exploration and production of natural gas in the Netherlands and the North Sea Continental Shelf since 1964. In the Dutch sector of the North Sea, gas is produced from 22 platforms and 3 subsea production installations. Most of the platforms are unmanned and remotely operated; four have gas treatment facilities.

The Role:
JOB DIMENSIONS

The key dimensions of the job are to prepare and manage all planning, scheduling and progress measurement aspects of Campaign Planning, these to be fully compliant with TEPNL Integrated Planning System.
The Campaign planner is responsible in this role during the total campaign cycle, including strategy and scoping, work planning and scheduling phases, as well as during the execution phase and close-out.

Impacted production: to maintain production plateau of the subsidiary and keep S/D efficient

ACTIVITIES :

• Responsible for all aspects of Campaign planning, scheduling and progress measurement within the TEPNL Integrated Planning System, covering the complete campaign cycle including scoping, workplanning and scheduling phase as well as execution and close-out. Although the campaign planning is integrated in the Overall Integrated Planning, during the execution phase it will be more or less a “separate project” using its own crew and facilities
• Ensure inclusion of all relevant Scope Of Work (SAP Work Orders and Operating Steps, MSRs etc) to be executed during the Campaigns.
• Assist the Campaign Co-Ordination to prioritize and manage the work planning activities
• Responsible for all aspects of associated planning and progress reporting of Campaign Activities.
• Resident offshore during execution period of campaign to assist the Campaign Leader with coordination of the activities and prioritizing the work (in line with the critical path analyses), as well as for daily progress monitoring and reporting.
• Identify and suggest schedule solutions to slippage particularly within Stop windows.
• Deputize for Campaign Leader as required.
• Attend and participate in all relevant Campaign and/or Planning Meetings
• Gathering information from Job Holders off involved entities, concerning Campaign related activities. Process this information into:
• Milestone planning.
• The required Detailed Level of planning for Campaign Planning in Primavera.
• Actualize this planning on a weekly basis and during Shut Down/Campaign execution phase on a daily basis.
• Update Project schedules through contact with Site Representative.
• Check and Monitor Primavera planning against IAP, which is used in the final micro managing of the detailed planned activities which have been scheduled and ‘fixed’ by the Primavera Integrated Planning.
• Active involvement in POB forecasting.
• Review Jobholders schedules.
• Analyze and perform simulations of new schedules and propose corrective actions when projects are delayed
• Ensure consistency for installed quantities of man-hours figures.
• Access as required to the Vantage system, to validate detailed movement planning of personnel in the field to support the plan.
• Oversee Campaign schedule with the responsibility of informing the Campaign Leader of the overall schedule status, highlighting any anomalies and providing detailed analysis as required.
• Feedback from Offshore Campaign Surveyor with regards to daily progress and project scope changes so that network can be readapted

At all times, the job holder will:
• Demonstrate personal commitment to the HSE Policy,
• Maintain awareness of and ensure compliance with all relevant Statutory and Company HSE standards,
• Actively participate in Company safety awareness and initiative schemes

CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT :

Our client is a mature subsidiary with 4 manned treating facilities, 1 mini manned treating facility, 17 remote un-manned locations, 4 sub-sea wells and 1 temporary mobile accommodation platform (SeaFox2). In this context optimization of the planning is highly important to control the OPEX/boe and to maximize the production by an optimal organization of the operations.

ACCOUNTABILITIES :

• Prepare and issue level 1 planning for Campaign related activities
• Prepare and update Campaign level 3 (detailed activities) planning (onshore)
• Prepare and update Campaign execution planning for offshore (5 days look ahead) during execution phase.
• Issue campaign progress S-curve and all other relevant and requested management and execution coordination reports

As Per Company Procedures and Processes

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Relevant experience as a Senior Planning Engineer in the Oil & Gas industry (5 years+) preferably with Offshore working experience.
• Working knowledge of Primavera and understanding of integrated planning processes. Schedule analyses experience to provide recommendations on schedule optimizations.
• Working knowledge of normal associated management software (Excel, Word, Power Point).
• Some knowledge of SAP and its processes would be advantageous (for essential transfer to/from Primavera) though this will provided.
• Personal ability to work closely with all relevant planning and operations personnel.
• Pro-active in collection of relevant data to build and update the schedule as well as communicative skills in order to efficiently execute his role in close contact with relevant
involved parties
