The Company:
Our global leading client is seeking highly skilled, experienced & capable contract international employees to work on a large multinational complex oil & gas project.

The Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Control and Instrumentation technical integrity advisor ensuring the safe and consistent application of ETPs, regulatory codes and standards and good engineering practice across all projects. Provide direction to the Major Projects engineering contractors.


Technical Integrity
• Ensure compliance with ETPs, OMS, MPcp and HSSE standards.
• Source of technical expertise on Control, Automation, Instrumentation and SIS activities to the Devs Engineering Manager and Developments Major Projects.
• Ensure the Engineering Delivery Managers and Devs Engineering Manager are kept fully appraised of key issues, status and outstanding actions at all times.
• Advise on use of standards, practices and design guidelines, including review and endorsement of exception requests.
• Maintain link with C&I discipline GPO TAs and SETAs and ensure effective transfer of lessons learned/technical integrity issues to and from the Projects.
• Provide review and approval of Control, Automation, Instrumentation and SIS related Engineering Change Requests.
• Promote safety and environmental responsibility in all aspects of the Control, Automation, Instrumentation and SIS design.
• Develop and implement the Control, Automation, Instrumentation and SIS Design Philosophies for Developments Major Projects.
• Ensure the Control, Automation, Instrumentation and SIS design meets the agreed standards and functional requirements.

Engineering Performance
• Set direction and provide oversight of the Engineering Contractor.
o Set clear direction with respect to Control, Automation, Instrumentation and SIS equipment issues and delivery of engineering documentation in accordance with the project schedule.
o Ensure alignment with objectives.
o Control of change and scope growth.
o Review and approval/signatory for design deliverables and documents.
o Review of contractor C&I resource plans
• Provide input to the procurement strategy, package selection and management, including FAT/witness testing.
• Integration and interface management including PSCM, Construction, Drilling, Operations, UEC and 3rd Party consultants.
• Ensure lessons learned and best practice are considered in the Major Projects design.

Engineering Leadership
• Develop and lead the C&I team.
• Provide clear direction for the C&I team, agree objectives and track progress.
• Monitor C&I resource levels for current and future project requirements
• Provide feedback, recognition and coaching to enhance the C&I team performance.
• Promote and uphold the Code of Conduct.
