The Company:
A leading Oil and Gas operator in Malaysia

The Role:
Reporting to Offshore Installation Manager (OIM), the Senior Cargo Superintendent will coordinate day-to-day operational activities and to provide Technical Support on all marine operations matter related to tanker. To ensure that the Tanker/vessels meet class society requirements as well as SOLAS, MARPOL, Flag State and other pertinent regulations.

Reporting:
Provide guidance in establishing proper and consistent reporting mechanisms across the assets. Oversee and endorse all daily, weekly and monthly reports with regard to:
• Daily activities (Operations and maintenance)
• Bunkering and consumption of consumables on tanker
• Transportation of equipment and consumables between the field and the onshore supply base
• System functionality and state of readiness as reported within the system allowance and system downtime reports.
• Review Tanker operator’s daily logs to ensure that they satisfy the standards set by the Field Operator

Operations
Oversee and report to the Offshore Installation Manager on marine operations activities on-board tanker, paying particular attention to:
• Offloading activities and the performance of the tanker operator and the field support vessel operator.
• Audit upon all vessel operator generated operations and maintenance procedures within the Asset Management systems
• Monitor operators competency based training compliance and staff training levels in general
• Manage and ensure the high quality crude with low BS&W for tankers
• Monitor the Mooring Systems condition, prepare and ensure maintenance routines are followed by Crew
• Assist in Offshore Marine Operations and enforcing of Company Standard Operating Procedures on all Marine Spread offshore.
• Assist and prepare for STS Operations including boats readiness, coordinating with relevant parties


Maintenance:
Oversee and reports to the Offshore Installation Manager on all maintenance activities on-board the tanker, and monitoring in particular:
• Review and audit the vessel maintenance system with regards to planning, execution, and backlog of all maintenance, inspection and tasks to ensure statutory requirements.
• Audit of critical and operational spare parts and equipment to ensure operational readiness
• Review the competency and experience of the relevant crew members with regard to marine and production systems operation and maintenance.
• Review and audit the vessels integrity management system to ensure that all Class notations and certificates are maintained.
• Review the fabric maintenance programme and compliance to Classification Society requirements including Special and UWILD surveys.
• Review and audit the maintenance regime for the field support vessels.
