The Role:
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
• The Supply Chain Management organization is held accountable for :
o Ensuring safe supplier and contractor performance,
o Delivering reliable and efficient Logistics and Procurement Operations,
o Creating organizational value through Strategic Procurement and
o Ensuring supplier contractual compliance. Our vision is to elevate ASBU's world-class supply chain and procurement organization in order to deliver value and achieve a sustained competitive advantage for the global enterprise.
• Strategic Procurement consists of Category Management & Contracting Category Management is a key enabler to improving operational excellence, reducing total cost of ownership, ensuring competitiveness and enhancing supplier performance to meet our business objectives.
• Category Team consisting of Category Manager, Category Specialist, Contracts Advisors, Business Analysts and Business Partners apply category planning, strategic sourcing, and supplier management processes to Company’s annual third party spend to deliver maximum value and reduce total cost of ownership.
• The Drilling & Completions Category in ASBU/Thailand consists of 90+ Product Service Lines (Materials and Services).
• The Category is responsible in managing $700MM spend through development of strategies in alignment with ASBU and enterprise-wide business drivers and goals.
• Under the leadership and guidance from the Thailand D&C Category Manager, the Category Manager / Category Specialist will be responsible for:
o Category Planning, Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Management for key Product Service Lines (PSL) in D&C Category (i.e. sub-categories assigned).
o Leverage Business Analyst to understand and manage PSLs, conduct strategic sourcing and supplier management.
o Facilitate Category Team in the preparation, execution of PSL strategies.
o Ensure Global/Local strategy alignment
o Lead and/or participate on all “strategic sourcing” activities
o Development of supplier management plan and related KPI’s and scorecards.
o Support Contract Owner in managing supplier performance and relationship through the SQM Process.
o Facilitate customer understanding of the contracts
o Lead and / or facilitate any ASR to ensure delivery of Value Creation.
o Ensure that commercial models negotiated will result in trans-actable contracts and will maximize priced line item catalogs to the extent reasonable.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
• Preferred candidate should be educated to degree level or have equivalent of 5-10 years experience in the oil & Gas industry or Supply Chain Management.
