The Company:
Our Client's fabrication capabilities providing quality fabrication, site services, and vessel mobilisations to the Subsea and Marine Industries
The site offers large undercover fabrication and painting halls, external fabrication capability and quayside frontage.
The company also offer project management and design capabilities.
The group can now provide a complete service from project management, design, procurement, fabrication, commissioning and testing through to loadout and delivery.

The Role:
Role Overview:
Review all W.E.S.L. project requirements with the QA Manager. Ensure that the welding inspectors know the project specifications / knowledge to carry out the project requirements. Liaise with production to ensure all NDT requirements with the work load priorities are met.

Role Specific Responsibilities/Tasks:
• Ensuring inspections at Pre / During / Post stages of the fabrication work, are logged and necessary paperwork is available.
• Ensure that all required inspections and tests have been completed and recorded on the Wilton Weld Inspection Log Sheet and supporting documentation is available.
• Compile project documentation Dossiers to client requirements.
Document Review
• Review project specifications, drawings and other related documents to become familiar with the project requirements.
• Where necessary, generation of weld maps.
• Ensure that all inspection and testing carried out is properly recorded on the appropriate inspection and test records.
• Review the documentation packages prepared by the Contractors to confirm all required inspections and tests have been performed and all required documentation is present.
• Review NDT reports to client requirements.
• Act as liaison between the Inspection team and the Project team for the compilation of project Data Dossiers
• Participate in Quality Audits.
• Collate inspection results.
• Provide technical support and guidance to fabrication personnel.
• Provide support to the material controller, in compiling material registers, where required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
5 years industry experience

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Sound knowledge of NDT techniques and reporting requirements
10 years industry experience
