The Role:
To ensure that the organisation meets or exceeds all minimum requirements for Operations at start up and throughout the commissioning period.
To ensure that the organisations staff have sufficient competent staff before the handover and commissioning of assets.

To ensure that OR&A is effectively used to reduce Operational risks to ALARP and to maximise production whilst minimising costs.
To facilitate and promote an environment, culture and appetite for continuous improvement.
To facilitate LEAN Projects, 6- SIGMA and other Tactical Teams.

The primary accountabilities for the Production Support Change Agent are:

To set standards of the highest standards in Operations, OR&A, and Asset Integrity.
Manage the Operations Documentation Portfolio with a focus on the Operations & Maintenance Philosophy, the Operations HSE Safety Cases and the the Operations Quantative Risk Assessment including the implementation of these strategic documents
To ensure the transition of processes, equipment, documentation and procedures in line with above.
Delivery to the Operations Manager, Start Up Manager, Production Support Manager and Production Director of transition scopes
To ensure that all aspects of the above are progressed as far as possible at the time of handover and to promote a culture which self sustains and improves thereafter.
To act as a role model and mentor for developing National staff.
Manage, mentor, encourage and council all staff and contractors in the behaviours and cultures required to continuously improve all standards in Agip KCO.
To intervene where behaviours and attitudes require improvement.
To act as On the Job Trainer for the above and all technical matters within the Change Agents own discipline.
To encourage National staff to take responsibility at an early stage such that they gain in confidence and develop to full potential ASAP.
To identify plan and manage the training and development requirements of National Staff.
Co-ordinate the transition of Production Operatorship.
To maintain skills and knowledge at the forefront of Industry standards and best practice.
To Facilitate Equipment Improvement Teams and other Operations Excellence / Asset Integrity improvement initiatives.

Main Interfaces:
Company/Internal
Function as a senior member of the Business Improvement Team
Liaise with Permit and Regulatory Compliance departments in Operations, Project and Corporate
Liaise with EP Project Team Management (in close cooperation with the Start Up & Operate Manager), Corporate HSE and other (Technical) Directorates
Directly deal with external parties including Co-Venture partners, NCOC and NCPOC
Directly deal with Contractors

External
Liaise/cooperate with ROK Authorities
Liaise with Partners and stakeholders
Liaise with suppliers/contractors where required

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Engineering degree or equivalent
Fluent in written and spoken English
Minimum 10 yrs in the Oil and Gas industry
Successful Track record within an oil and gas complex for both onshore and offshore

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Good communications skills
Strong team player with a proactive approach to the decision making process
Ability to lead and coach national and international staff
Able to recognise and develop latent skills in others
Flexible and able to adopt to rapidly changing environments and situations
