The Role:
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Change Communications Consultant is responsible for day-to-day communications support of Project ONE, the company’s SAP transformation project, and will deliver the required materials and tools to the Project. The position will report to the Hess Communications Manager and will provide communications counsel and support to the Project ONE team leads.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support the Manager in the rollout and socialization of the SAP transformation project, and the company restructuring initiative via communications programs and related materials and activities.
• Serve as Hess’s main source of communications counsel and support for the project.
• Proactively identify communications opportunities and issues and respond accordingly.
• Plan and implement communications across all media channels for Project ONE that explain performance drivers, report results, celebrate successes and drive a deeper understanding of the SAP transformation project and how it connects to our company’s vision.
• Provide day-to-day tactical support and input into strategy development.
• Ensure successful implementation of Change Management communications deliverables

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

• Develop and apply change communication methods that deliver effective communications that add value and support the achievement of project goals.
• Build and nurture effective working relationships with project team functional leads.

In addition, the position requires:
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading capabilities.
• Initiative and self-manage capability.
• Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills are mandatory.
• Proven track record of providing clear and strategic communications counsel to leaders, building trust and developing strong working relationships with key internal clients.
• Ability to solve problems quickly and effectively.
• Excellent project management skills to carry out multiple projects simultaneously and ensure timely execution and delivery of project tasks.
• Proven ability deliver high quality communications materials under tight deadlines.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a collegial team to achieve results.
• Attention to detail.
• High energy and a positive attitude.
• Knowledge and understanding of the oil and gas industry and SAP will be favorably considered.
• Undergraduate or graduate degree in Communications or a related field.
