The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.

The Role:
Will serve as the central focal point and include the management of all cost, schedule, and technical changes for Upstream Project.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Coordinating the gathering of all necessary information for each cost, schedule, or technical change identified
- Properly compiling all gathered information, and preparing an approval package for project management to review / approve
- Following up with project management on outstanding issues identified when review project changes
- Coordinating with project costs analyst to ensure proper coding of identified changes
- Entering all identified changes into the project cost system
- Providing all required change management reports to all stakeholders
- Supplying all required change management information to Upstream reporting coordinator to support monthly reporting requirements.
- Coordination with Central Business Services to supply all necessary upstream change management information Support cost control function for the Upstream Project team including but not limited to:
- Management & Reporting of all owner’s control budgets
- Forecasting remaining owner’s costs for the project
- Identification and processing of owner’s team trends
- Communicating to multiple budgets owner’s regarding the current cost status of their respective owner team’s costs Provides all necessary information to the Upstream reporting specialist to support owner’s costs reporting requirements.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Position requires an experienced cost engineering / financial professional with a proven track record of fulfilling a similar position in an owner’s team environment for similar large scale gas developments executed on a global basis.
Must have sound / relevant experience in the implementation of cost engineering processes, preparation of project cost reporting and estimates, use of work breakdown structures, and application and control of contingencies.
Individual must demonstrate a collaborative work style, team alignment, clear communication skills, experienced at management interface / interaction, and focus on consistent delivery of timely, accurate and appropriate information for the respective project phases.
