The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.

The Role:
Assist in the definition and implementation of Project Change Control systems, procedures and reporting for the LNG Project:

This will include the following:
- Maintenance of the Project-wide Change Management process as a basis for assessing impact against budget and forecast targets;
- Configure, maintain and administer the change control system and ensure correct interface with the project delivery teams in coordinating the review, approval and implementation of changes as they relate to cost and planning targets;
- Report on the forecast impact on budget performance in conjunction with the cost engineering team;
- Facilitate regular Change Board meetings.
- Record and monitor all actions taken and distribute change requests and action tracking registers as appropriate;
- Support preparation of project cost reports to accurately reflect overall impact of changes and contingency draw-down from management reserves, and provide a transparent view of overall decisions taken on the implementation of changes.
- Maintain change registers and prepare routine change management reports:
- prepare and deliver monthly change control report and Project contingency draw-down curve;
- assist in the preparation of cost analysis of performance against annual budgets and work plans in conjunction with the respective project control cost and planning teams.
Communicate/report project change status and analyse exceptions, in support of management cost review meetings.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The Client prefers experience over education.
Engineering degree preferred
Cost background, at an entry level (approx 5 years), working on similar large scale capital project developments executed on a global basis
Must have relevant experience in the implementation of change control, general cost engineering and/or planning processes, preparation of project reporting
MS Office applications and other related software
Individual must demonstrate a collaborative work style, team alignment, clear communication skills, experience at management interface/interaction and focus on consistent delivery of timely, accurate and appropriate information for the respective project phase.
