The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.

In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in FEED (Front End Engineering Design) Stage.

The Role:
As the Change Coordinator you will provide change governance over the IM&T PROD environment.

Responsibilities:
• Managing the agreed Change and Configuration Management process for all IT Changes including agreed associated documentation.
• Manage schedule Changes to reduce risk of impacting production availability.
• Facilitates the Change Advisory board (CAB).
• Liaison with business regarding risk for Changes as required, with support of the User Service Lead & IT Technical Teams.
• Maintain the Configuration Management Process and tools.
• Ensure the integrity of CMDB is maintained at all times.
• Maintain and evolve the CMDB.
• Continuous Service Improvement in relation to Change and Configuration Management processes and services.
• Promotion of a Change and Configuration Management culture.
• Ensure that third party providers operate in a professional and reasonable manner with respect to charges for all Change and Configuration Management associated services.
• Ensure Change and Configuration Management is embedded in IM&T strategies and plans.
• Perform risk analysis and mitigation for all Change and Configuration Management activities.
• Ensure that all change-related risks to the Company production environment are mitigated and that senior IM&T and business personnel are kept informed of risk status.
• Continuously improve the practice of Change and Configuration Management for the Company IM&T.
• Develop and foster a Company culture that perceives Change and Configuration Management as a vital function that contributes to the overall effectiveness of IM&T.
• Maintains Change and Configuration Management detailed metrics and extracts KPIs.
• Provides regular reports of Change and Configuration Management activities.
• Ensure that third party providers follow the Company Change and Configuration Management process.
• Knowledge of IT Service Management such as ITIL, COBIT or equivalent.
• Specific knowledge in ITIL V3 Service Transition process primarily:
-Change Management;
-Service Asset & Configuration Management;
-Release & Deployment Management;
-Service Validation & Testing;
-Good Understanding of Risk management framework such as MoR or equivalent.
• General knowledge of SIT, UAT, and OAT, test environment methodology.
• Ensure the integrity of the Company production environment is maintained throughout the change process.
• Ensure the integrity of the Company Configuration Management Database is maintained.
• Ensure Change and Configuration Management KPIs are meeting business and IM&T requirements.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Degree in IT&T or related field, or relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years experience in IT Industry.
• Specific knowledge of Change, Release and Configuration Management best practice with past experience.
• Sound knowledge of service management and related frameworks such as ITIL or equivalent.
• Ability to step through testing plans, back-out and recovery plans.
• Ability to prioritize workload with specific focus in planning and coordinating activities.
• Ability to create guidelines and standards.
• Technical background and experience that will enable effective understanding and evaluation of IT Changes.
• Collaborative approach to delivery of projects; must be a team player with self management skills.
• Excellent people skills, ability to build and maintain relationships with peers across all IT areas, 3rd party suppliers and business areas.
• Must be highly customer focused and service orientated.
