The Company:
Our Client is a large international Operating Company leading the development of a major oilfield in southern Iraq.

The Role:
Our leading client is currently seeking a Change Management Specialist to be based in Dubai and include regular business trips to UAE and Iraq.

Coordinate Contractors change management process related activities; Participate in audits towards contractors related to change management;

Check CI, VR, VO, Deviation Request and other change management system related Registers developed and maintained by each sub-project, including VO Register Block in P+, and update Identified/ Potential Project Change Register accordingly; Register all received Project Change Proposals (PCP) in the PCP Register; Develop and register DCP/DDP in a relevant Register including P+ Change Register Block on the basis of the received PCP and submit to relevant PM for processing;

Maintain Project change registers and other change management system related documentation in accordance with the PCM procedure; Provide a brief summary of the VO and all the Change registers status on a monthly basis or upon change management coordinator request;

Facilitate development of AFE for DDP/DCP’s generating new contract / new project (for existing contracts, it is generally covered by the existing contract team) upon request from PC Manager; Arrange a facility and submit agenda, invitations and supporting docs to PCMP meeting participants according to the PCM procedure;

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Higher technical education in and Engineering Discipline or significant relevant experience.
Approximately 10 years of experience in a similar role / Project Engineer /Project Controls with strong engineering understanding.

Knowledge:
– HSE competence;
– Change Management Concepts and application;
– Technical requirements on Oil and Gas Projects;
– Knowledge of Cost and Schedule development
– Best practices in the respective discipline;

Skills:
– Ability to interact with representatives of different cultures;
– Analytical approach to solution of complex technical problems in the area of various disciplines;
– Ability to work independently in uncertain conditions while achieving the set target;
– Coaching and mentoring skills

IT Skllls – Microsoft Office; Primavera (Preferred but not essential)
