The Company:
Our client are a major company within Oil and Gas

The Role:
Working on a 19/9 rotation basis the Change Manager will play a key role in helping the project meet business objectives. He/she will focus on the people side of change including changes to business processes, systems, technology and organisation structures. The primary focus will be on creating and implementing change management plans that minimise employee resistance and maximise engagement.

The Change Manager will have to work through many others in the client organisation in order to ensure the success of the project. He/she will act as a coach in order to help the appropriate key individuals fulfil the role of change sponsor, and also provide direct support/coaching to front-line managers and supervisors.

Responsibilities
 Apply a structured change management approach and methodology for the people side of change
 Develop a change management strategy based on situational awareness of the details of the change and groups being impacted by the proposed changes
 Identify potential risks and possible points of resistance and develop specific plans to mitigate and address concerns
 Conduct readiness assessments, evaluate the results and present the findings in a straightforward and easy to understand manner
 Develop actionable and targeted change management plans, including stakeholder analysis, communication and coaching/training plans
 Create and manage performance metrics to track adoption, utilisation and efficiency of changes implemented
 Identify performance and resistance gaps and work to develop and implement appropriate actions
 Design and deliver reinforcement mechanisms and celebrations of success
 Work with the project team to integrate change management activities into the overall project plan, and with HR, communication an OD specialist in the formulation of particular plans and activities to support successful project implementation

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
10 years+ experience of change management and working in the oil and gas sector
 A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process
 Experience and knowledge of change management principles and methodologies
 Exceptional communication skills
 Excellent active listening skills
 Ability to work at all levels within an organisation
 Excellent Problem solving skills
 Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
 A good team player, and able to work with and through others
 High influencing skills and the ability to move others towards a common goal
 Experience with large-scale organisational change programmes
