The Company:
Is a leading Automotive manufacturer with a reputation for outstanding quality the world over. With demand increasing and an upturn in production, there is a need to bring further skills into the business to deliver on current and future projects.

The Role:
Main Purpose of the Role
To provide expert theoretical and practical capability to design Chassis suspension components using CAD.

Scope of the Role
1. Responsible for developing and maintaining technical knowledge/capability.
2. Responsible for defining and reporting scope of own work the capacity planning of the responsible SE.
3. Responsible for the packaging design, 3D modelling, 2D detailing and installation drawings of components which, when introduced into production, will satisfy the specified performance requirements.
4. Responsible for the generation of design data according to the prevailing standards and conventions for such design data.
5. Responsible for timely completion of specified design work for prototype build and production.

Qualifications and Experience
- Appropriate engineering degree, national certificate or diploma and relevant experience.
- Solid design experience in the automotive industry.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Extensive experience within an automotive or automotive components supplier group
