The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Experienced Chassis Brakes Engineer required to support new major SVO programmes. Position will require an engineer to hit the ground running and create braking systems for unqiue SVO projects. Process knowledge is also important to aid speed of work start. You must have experience of taking a complex commodities through the tehnical gateway process to Production and able to work in small teams and with other Functions. Good overall projects skills are required as well as being able to present complex technical brake issues and solutions to senior engineering management

3 KEY SKILLS REQUIRED
1. Proven Chassis/ brakes engineer able to deliver product from initial concept right through to production,experience of FMEAS,DVP,Design development,refinement and testing knowledge,brake target setting,good knowldege of materials.Able to work in small teams delivering engineering solution quickly for niche low volume products.
2. Ability to lead problem resolution sessions and reach compatibile cross functional solutions.Able to work with and manage suppliers where required in all engineering aspects
3. Company processes

Experience Required: Relevant Degree, or substantial relevant experience

Experience Preferred: Package, RMDV, CAD. Knowledge of whole vehicle systems and architecture Knowledge of systems and processes (RMDV, PCDS)
