The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
The applicant will be required to drive validation manouvers in the whole range of Company vehicles and assess their performance against the requirements of the Manouvers Catalogue and targets applicable to the specific vehicle project.

Skills Required:
High level test driving skills at and beyond the adhesion limit in a range of high and low mu test environments Ability to precisle and repeatably follow the requirements of a driving manouver instruction Ability to run in vehicle data capture software to record driving manouvers and outcomes Ability to write and communicate effectively in English Ability to discuss, subjectively and objectively, vehicle and system behaviours with supervisory team members

Skills Preferred:
SCS tuning experience would be an advantage

Experience Required:
High performance test driving in a range of vehicles and environments (e.g. high and low mu)

Education Required:
Automotive or mechanical engineering

Additional Information :
This role will involve travelling between a number of test venues at the UK and over main land Europe. Typically 15% @ Gaydon, 5% other UK locations, 20% Northern Sweden (Winter Test January to March) 20% Spain, 20% Germany, 20% France & Belgium During test trips away from Gaydon the working week will typically be 10 hour days - pay will be pro-rata for the hours worked No travelling expences will be provided in this role - all costs are to be covered within the hourly rate offered
