The Company:
Our client is a large multi-national Oil and Gas Operator which explores, develops, produces and markets crude oil, gas and sulfur. They pride themselves on conducting operations in accordance with world–class safety and environmental standards.

The Role:
This is a safety sensitive position requiring leadership and performance skills commensurate with achieving excellence in safety.

Manages the overall chemical treatment program for company operations relating to 2 concessions.
Provides expert assistance on corrosion, scale, crude oil dehydration, and water treatment.
Manages the costs associated with production treating chemical purchase.
Provides oversight of the external chemical vendor.
Seeks to improve the process reliability associated with the chemical and corrosion program supply and maintenance.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Applicants shall have considerable experience and knowledge of corrosion inhibitors, scale inhibitors, biocides, demulsifiers, water clarifiers, and paraffin treatments.
Applicants shall possess a comprehensive understanding of applications and analytical techniques utilized in the monitoring of applied treatment programs.
Previous experience within a production operations environment is essential.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills in both written and oral formats and will be competent in the use of appropriate computer applications to support a robust record of program monitoring data.
Applicant should be degree qualified in an appropriate subject matter and/or be chartered or registered with an appropriate governing body. Significant experience may be considered in lieu of higher formal qualifications / associations at the discretion of the company Sponsor.
