The Company:
A major Oil and Gas Operator for an offshore project.

The Role:
The service holder is responsible, within Field Operation team and under Method Production Leader’s supervision, for ensuring the right definition of chemicals specified and supplied for Kaombo Project either by Contractor or by the Operator subsidiary (diesel and methanol), their compliance with Angolan regulations, and their optimum performance in treatment processes through the supervision of all activities related to Chemical supply and related to chemical treatments.
The service holder will follow-up all procurement activities related to chemicals supply (either managed by Contractor or by the Operator subsidiary) in order to ensure that onshore infrastructure is duly established to receive required chemicals and that all required chemicals are available in due time.
The service holder will ensure that all chemicals (supplied either by Contractor or by the Operator's subsidiary) are in line with operational requirements and have passed all the required testing.
The service holder will bring his assistance and support to Field Operation team for resolution of treatment problems and will interface, liaise and support with DGEP/EXP/PRD and with laboratory specialists onshore.
The service holder will participate in the preparation and execution of pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities and will follow chemicals efficiency, and will assist in the optimisation of treatment processes during start-up
and ramp-up phases (i.e. Water Injection, Produced Water separation and treatment, Chemical Injection, etc.).
The service holder reports to the Method Production Leader.

Based PAU (France). Missions in Angola and worldwide to be forecasted during detailed engineering.
Relocation in Luanda (resident status) during Project course as part of FOPS onshore support team.
Strong interpersonal skills and able to work with a multi-disciplined/multi-cultural team.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Professional Experience (years): 7/20 (according profile)
Experience in similar position (years): min 5/10 (according profile) in Production Chemistry and treatment processes (Lab & Treatment)
Level / Diploma: Experienced technician or engineer in Chemical Engineering (or equivalent)
