The Company:
World's leading midstream marine services company and a vital link in the global energy supply chain.
The addition of the four vessels increases for Brazil-based shuttle tanker fleet.

The Role:
Safety and environmental compliance as a top priority
Deciding, in consultation with the Master, on notification procedure to engine room
Providing technical advice and assistance to those responsible for the efficient conduct of the vessel in general
Being fully responsible for the operation, care and maintenance of all mechanical machinery, electrical, and electronic equipment on the vessel
Being present in the engine room, engine control room or other appropriate place where the vessel is on standby for entering or leaving port, or in restricted waters
Ensuring that bunkers have been ordered and sufficient reserve quantities are maintained at all times
Ensuring that all bunkering operations and the transfer of bunker and lube oils are performed safety
Ensuring that the main propulsion plant and all ships auxiliary equipment, is maintained at optimum efficiency, as well as monitoring the relevant plant performance to enable its maintenance requirements to be properly identified, scheduled and effected
Assisting with budgets for all repairs and maintenance, mechanical spares and consumable stores in cooperation with the Master and subsequently controlling costs
Participating in the training of cadets and junior officers

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experience in shuttle tankers is extremely important.
Advanced/ Fluent English.

It is necessary that the candidate has one of these options below:
1- Be a Brazilian
2- Be from some country of Mercosul
3- Be from anywhere and has permanent residence in Brazil

Special Safety
Special Course for GMDSS Personnel
Special Course on Medical Care

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
4 calendar years experience in Tankers or Dry Cargo as appropriate excluding shipboard training as Cadet.
