The Company:
Our client is a leading engineering solutions provider for blue-chip companies in the UK.

The Role:
• To deliver Technical Assurance in a specialist discipline across natural resource operations.
• To directly support execution of all projects and proposals through expert technical input to critical areas of engineering and design delivery.
• Through continual development of technical expertise, implement best practice to minimise the impact of design on SHE risks in construction, commissioning and operations, and ensure processes and procedures deliver compliant designs which meet the design intent.
• To provide technical leadership of an engineering discipline.
• The Chief Engineer is the company's highest Technical Authority in a specialist discipline across all natural resource operations including head office, and subsidiary businesses, UK and overseas.
• The job holder will work closely with Team Managers in ensuring appropriate technical competence at recruitment and assignment of staff, and at all centres with NRD operational responsibility.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• A degree in a relevant engineering subject.
• Chartered Engineer
• Extensive years experience in a relevant field of engineering with the immediate preceding commensurate years in the technical specialist discipline with technical governance accountability.
