The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
To produce an accurate set of vehicle circuits, with the correct wire attributes and connector pin outs in time for release and incorporation into the harnesses, using VeSys & EDS Enterprise CAD tools. Reviewing component DT's and applying circuit design rules to deliver a quality design. Run circuit audits to validate information supplied and perform circuit analysis techniques for DC characteristic (Short circuit/Voltdrop) also fusing & grounding architecture, and involved in resolving system issues, using design rule checking and SDS's.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Strong communication skills; able to communicate complex circuit technical concepts, and feedback to a wider audience. Proven project and time management skills and able to work to a high standard with minimum supervision. Knowledge of EFDVS and circuit SDS requirements. Proficient in the VeSys Circuit Analysis tools and techniques or equivalent tool.
Detailed experience and knowledge of circuit analysis principles. Tools process and modelling knowledge of spice or equivalent. Proficient in the VeSys Circuit Design. (or an equivalent tool) Proficient in the VeSys Circuit Analysis tools and techniques. Knowledge of EFDVS and circuit SDS requirements
Degree in an Engineering or related discipline preferred not essential

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Clear understanding of NGCNS. Perform and plan circuit audits. Proficient in reviewing and applying component DT's. Understand and apply harness topology to all wires. Fully understand analysis of circuits including fusing principles. Sound knowledge of 1st principles (electronics)
Knowledge of Market and system requirements would be beneficial. A flexible approach to work beyond normal hours as required. Knowledge of harness supplier manufacturing techniques. High level of personal motivation and drive; equally able to work alone or as part of a larger muliti-disciplined team
