The Company:
Our Client oversees and manages all the operations associated with major LNG projects.

The Role:
Job Purpose:
• Report to the Manager/Head ( Construction Services).
• Working closely with Lead Construction Engineer/ Project Engineer ( Coordination) prior and during project execution.
• Provide Company representation in monitoring and coordinating the site activities of EPC and PCI Contractor and its sub-contractors.
• Report on the construction activities, progress, and areas of concern and mitigating actions.
• Prepare for and participate in weekly construction review meetings.
• Review and approve method statement provided by contractor and make construction execute the job follow to method statement.

Key Result Areas:
• Monitor and assist the EPC & PCI Contractor and sub-contractors in the implementation of site specific SHE program, emergency response and evacuation drill programs. Participate in incident/accident investigation and prevention of recurrence.
• Coordinate EPC & PCI Contractor’s work activities and interface coordination with the activities of Third Parties. Coordinate EPC&PCI Contractor’s activities with company Operations to avoid interference with existing onshore and offshore facilities.
• Ensure construction work carried out in accordance with company rules, regulations, standards and permit to work per WMS procedures.
• Ensure that construction is carried out in accordance with rules regulations, standards and the Consolidated Permit to Work System in areas under country jurisdiction.
• Ensure Safety compliance at Work Site and participated in company Safety B-safe program.
• Review work and inspection results to ensure compliance with EPC&PCI Contract requirements. Interface and coordinate with Project Engineer/Engineer and QC Coordinator. Monitor and ensure the correction of non-conformance report items and other issues supporting QA/QC compliance.
• Review the construction sequence/logic, method statement/procedures and pre-task planning to ensure comprehensive feasibility and safety.
• Conduct construction surveillance activities per OPD requirement.

• Report and record potential change order request to assist in claims avoidance.
• Monitor site material handling and warehousing procedures with respect to the areas to facilitate construction progress.
• Provide assistance and direction in the Mechanical Completion, Commissioning, and Start-up activities of the plant working with all parties to facilitate these activities.

Operating Environment, Framework and Boundaries:

• Works in accordance with company policies and directives from the Construction Manager.
• Provides construction recommendations and constructability on tenders, design, and control of contractors, which can have cost implications for the Company.
• Discusses with the Construction Head/Lead and the Contractor for major problems and work progress encountered during Field Modification (FM)projects.
• Operates in a comprehensive technical and supervisory role to support all construction related work activities for FM projects.
• Works with in established company, industry policies and procedures

Communications and Working Relationships:

• Works with Construction Lead/Coordinator and discipline engineers for planning and execution of projects.
• Frequent external contacts with Safety officer, QA/QC coordinator, Permit and material Supervisor, supplier representatives, and construction contractors during planning and execution of FM projects.
• Frequent contact with Procurement & Expediting, Operations, Maintenance, and EHS.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Minimum of (10) years broad experience in all phases of construction planning, field execution and mechanical completion activities
• Worldwide experience working with contractors and subcontractors, in particular those involved in the construction of onshore oil, gas, chemical and/or petrochemical plant facilities in the field of Civil & Building portion of the work.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Civil Engineering.
• Good written and verbal communications skills.
• Good supervisory skills.
