Our client is an international leading engineering consultancy, offering a diverse range of multi-disciplinary technical and engineering services to high-profile developers throughout a number of industries.

Fircroft has been engaged to source a civil drainage engineer for the clients Sydney transport division.
.
This candidate will utilise their civil design experience to work across the full life cycle of a number of NSW’s major infrastructure projects.



Key areas of responsibility include:

• Ensure project deadlines are met, monitoring budget and expenditure to meet project targets and requirements.
• Develop stormwater management plans , flood studies/analysis
• Carry out design and research services in Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD), water balance and water quality
• Maintain and ensure engineering design drawings for project work meet statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with technical staff to identify design specifications and produce construction drawings for large scale infrastructure projects
• Operate without supervision on medium to large projects throughout NSW with a direct report to the drainage team leader

Minimum requirements for this role:

• Bachelor degree in civil engineering (or relevant)
• Proficient competency using 12D, TuFlow and/or HECRAS
• Minimum of 5 + years Australian consulting experience in Drainage Engineering
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise professionally team members and stakeholders
• Thorough knowledge of storm water, WSUD and water quality procedures in NSW
