The Company:
An established oil and gas exploration and production in Indonesia

The Role:
To review and approve the specification, design and supply (by contractors) of civil works, ensuring that it meets project objectives, industry standards and best practice for safety, reliability and cost.

Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
• Technical integrity of civil engineering design
• Accuracy of civil works cost and schedule estimates
• HSEQ standards, procedures and best practice application to civil engineering design and construction plan
• Identifying and adopting the correct civil engineering/constructions, infrastructures and civil works
• Civil engineering reviewing and approving of contractor’s documentation
• Design reviewing (construction and installation design)
• Reviewing civil works and constructions activities
• Supporting onshore WP leader for planning and monitoring project execution (schedule, cost and compliance of work to project specifications)
• Providing technical support to civil works contractors

Safety Responsibilities:
HSES awareness in all duties and activities/compliance enforcement with general HSES rules. Comply with requirements of the Safety, Health, and Environmental laws of Indonesia and to obey the corporate policy of the company on Safety, Health, and Environment, and to practice the company Safety Systems.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• The job holder must have engineering degree (Civil engineering)
• Experience in Project Engineering in a major oil and gas company for Civil Works activities
• Not less than 7 years of working experience in oil & gas industry
• Not less than 5 years of experience of working with civil works for oil & gas project

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Good knowledge and understanding of the civil engineering and civil works activities
• Good abilities to read, understand, interpret and write reports and documentation
• Good communication skills at all levels
• Experience of working in multi-national environment
